Populating Gondwana is yet another success story of human efforts to colonize foreign worlds. Little do they know that they are not the first ones trying to seize this apparently unoccupied planet. 136 years after their arrival they finally encounter the Opreju and unintentionally set them free from their historical captivity on Travorsa Island - a fatal mistake that prepares the ground for desaster. 150 years later the Opreju crush the last human resistance. Only a couple of hundred survive the Great War and start a new life from scratch.
